HOME: Welcome

Hello, I am Jennifer and I help professionals overcome workplace adversity, improve their corporate confidence, and create opportunities and life balance.

I am a Qualified and passionate Mentor, Coach and Certified NLP Practitioner, with a B.A.Hons in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I have numerous years’ experience running my own business and working for large corporations, enabling me to draw on a wealth of professional and corporate experience.

I work with Clients to enable them gain control of mind-set, emotions and habits, they can then use that control to build the clarity and focus needed to achieve success. We do this together through a tailored program of 1:1 Coaching, Neuro-Linguistics and 'Active' plans.

I find Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which is a pseudoscientific approach to communication, personal development and psychotherapy, to be very effective.

There is a connection between neurological (neuro-), language (linguistic) and behavioural patterns learned through experience (programming), and these can be changed to achieve specific goals in life. Often in a single session, NLP can treat problems such as phobias, depression, psychosomatic illnesses and learning disorders.

I also mentor companies who want to enhance their personnel's wellbeing and boost morale; a happy and motivated workforce will achieve more for the company and find fulfilment for themselves.

We would work together through quantifiable objectives, what is it you want to achieve? The agreed programme of work is done in 1:1 or group strategy sessions with employees. Presentations, observations and assessment will help to identify and develop bespoke plans appropriate for your companies' skills gap and business requirement.

I am passionate about people, our narrative, behaviour and emotions. Everybody has a story and a vision for life. For me there is no better mission than helping those craving change, breakthrough the obstacles holding them back to realise their goals and achieve the desired successes.

I have had many challenges to overcome in my personal and professional life. Each one has taken time, support and personal development to become stronger and wiser.

An optimist at heart naturally makes me see, find or work towards positive outcomes. I have an instinctive ability to turn setbacks into an advantage and want to help others do the same.

"Every cloud has a silver lining" is one of my favourite sayings.

I personally believe there is something good in every bad event, we just have to look and find it in order to recover, grow and live our best life.

“Optimism is not a denial of the current state,

it's a belief that the future is bright”

Simon Sinek -  Author & Motivational Speaker

I have suffered some major setbacks in my life, each one demonstrating to me how value and benefit can always be derived from a bad thing that happens.

I have had my heart broken, but it created space for the love of my life. I was unemployed for several months, but I did more training and expanded my skillset. I have been in critical care with Sepsis, the silver lining here - I survived.

Then a few weeks before my wedding in 2011, I became 'numb' from the waist down. It happened progressively over 24 hours. I put it down to  excitement and exhaustion in equal measure - there had been a lot to do!

I had lots of useful advice, "it's probably a trapped nerve, etc. etc. Then several months later, I received the earth shattering diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). My new promised world of married bliss, babies and grandchildren now seemed very unlikely, I could only think, "why me... why now..."

At the time, I was working as a Senior Consultant for a well known UK bank. Initially, I used work to distract me from my physical and mental pain. My Team and Management were incredibly supportive, but eventually I had to take time out away from work to heal my head, heart and body, I needed to take back control, of me.

Since then, I have made many improvements to my lifestyle, and I am lucky to say I have not deteriorated or suffered further relapses.

As a result, I have become a huge champion of self-care. I strongly believe a healthy body and calm mind can always act and react better than an unrested one, especially under the pressure the corporate world can apply.

Taking responsibility for your Mind, Body, Actions, Reactions, Goals and Achievements in the face of adversity, is a very powerful feeling.

Taking responsibility is taking control. it is a powerful mindset shift, and has transformed both my personal and professional life.

I can share so many lessons I have learnt, no doubt I have many lessons still to learn, but that's life. My investment in me, means that I don't just survive, I thrive.  My journey thus far is what inspired me to train as a Life Coach.

YOU DON'T NEED TO DO IT ALONE. If you are struggling or frustrated with anything, find love and support around you. It is there, trust me, you just need to know - how and where to look.

Together, we can make changes in your life and career. We will create happiness. NO CHANGE IS TOO SMALL!
